Hello everyone! I'm Karina, currently residing in Tokyo, Japan. Over the past seven years, I have immersed myself in the vibrant Japanese culture and community, becoming a well-integrated member of this dynamic society. Currently I am pursuing a master’s degree in Global Studies at Sophia University focusing on the areas such as Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Economics and Politics. Professionally, I have gained valuable experience across various fields. I recently completed an internship with Refugee Empowerment International in Tokyo, where I managed social media and fundraising projects, successfully raising ¥9.5M in a two-month duration. Currently, doing a part-time as an English Language Teacher at Kids&Us, implementing a dynamic curriculum and achieving a 100% passing rate by employing innovative teaching methodologies. My diverse skill set encompasses sales management, critical thinking, teaching, marketing research, inbound marketing, communication, collaboration and event management. I am proficient in both Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (TOEIC score: 885/990). Additionally, recently I have earned certificates in Sales Training for High Performing Teams. And have been recognized with the SMBC Foundation for International Cooperation Scholarship Fellow. My ideal professional environment is one that allows me to leverage my sales and marketing skills while fostering an international atmosphere where I can utilize my Japanese and English Language proficiency.
