Description
We are looking for a highly-skilled and passionate Product Designer with good UI/UX fundamentals, a thorough knowledge of design, and an interest in the artistic process of storytelling & illustration!
You’ll be playing a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface design, ensuring our applications meet the needs of both professional artists and casual users.
Responsibilities
- Designing elegant and intuitive interfaces that seamlessly integrate with the features of our storytelling, artistic, and publishing applications
- Creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively address user needs and enhance the overall user experience
- Designing visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that align with our brand identity and foster a delightful user experience
- Establish and maintain a robust design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the application
- Conducting user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to identify opportunities for improvement and inform design decisions
- Producing high-quality design specifications, guidelines, and other relevant documentation to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams
- Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance the application's design and functionality
Qualifications
Some Skills and Toolset We Hope You’ll Have (basic qualifications)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and projects, focused on user-centric design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Nice to Haves (preferred qualifications)
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with development teams
- Familiarity with user testing methodologies and tools to validate design decisions
- Experience working in a remote team
- Knowledge of Notion or another project management software
