Make An Impact/ The Role

Adjust is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our global Product Marketing team, with an emphasis on our fast-growing APAC markets!

This role will be based in our Tokyo office; candidates must be fluent in English and Japanese, and proficient in either Mandarin or Korean to be able to support the wider East Asia region. Your primary responsibilities will be working cross-functionally with our global Product, Sales, and Marketing departments to lead company-wide product marketing initiatives and contribute to team projects. You will also offer more specialized product marketing support to our regional APAC Sales & Marketing teams, and help bring regional insights from prospects and clients back to the global team for consideration in all Product Marketing efforts.

In this role you’ll be the glue who binds our product strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results. You will be a product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches and go-to-market strategies.

You’ll get to know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You’ll also get to know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. You’ll drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

You’ll collaborate with our marketing team to develop thought leadership content to drive go-to-market efforts and product adoption. And in addition to the marketing team, you will regularly collaborate with product managers, sales managers, customer success and support, integrations, partnerships, localization, and more to make our products a success.


Responsibilities

  • Offer dedicated product marketing support to our regional APAC Sales & Marketing teams to help them win deals and upsell existing customers.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; partner with Program Management to train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned in APAC markets. Use this knowledge to update our competitive intelligence resources.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Understand and document our buyers’ process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Develop a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and content to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.

Qualifications

Bring Your Knowledge/ Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of product marketing or generalist marketing experience
  • Experience in leveraging multiple marketing channels and content types (e.g., Email Marketing, Demand Generation, Social Media) to drive engagement and adoption
  • Experience in creating one pagers and sales presentations in Google Slides and PowerPoint - and eye for design is a huge plus.
  • Strong in the product marketing “combo”: analytical skills with experience in spreadsheets and data analysis, plus an eye for design with the ability to creatively storytell in one-pagers and presentations
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships with a variety of partners (e.g., Product Managers, Marketing, Sales Managers, Partnerships)
  • Never ending curiosity to improve process, knowledge and delivery
  • Excitement to be a part of a global team and the flexibility to work with peers across different time zones (predominantly US, Japan, and Germany)
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A plus: experience working in the mobile marketing/ad tech industry
  • Must be fluent in Japanese and English with excellent written & verbal communication skills, prefer to be proficient in either Mandarin or Korean
