Summary:

This position is responsible for:

  1. Grow fee-paid insurance revenue by expanding the number of insurance policy in force by marketing activities: tele-marketing, digital marketing, etc.
  2. Manage NAC insurances (“non-additional charge” as card embedded insurance) cooperating with insurance companies as well as internal product team.

Responsibilities

1. Grow fee-paid insurance revenue.

  • Develop E2E customer journey to bring AXP customers to apply for existing insurance service which is AXP exclusive.
  • Closely work with insurance partners and give direction to accelerate insurance acquisition by tele-marketing.
  • Accelerate insurance acquisition by developing digital communication leveraging multiple digital channels.
  • Create performance tracking report and analyze result/opportunity based on PDCA process.
  • Work closely with central insurance team to report Japan trend as well as getting support globally.
  • Be sensitive to external insurance market and propose an innovative idea.
  • Understand Insurance regulation and work appropriately and honestly.

 2. Manage NAC insurance.

  • Manage existing NAC insurances by reviewing performances and payment.
  • Enhance marketing communication to raise customers’ awareness on NAC insurance services and activate the use.

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinking and data-oriented mindset
  • Strong commitment on delivering results and quick execution in timely manner.
  • Positive attitude to seek new opportunities from outside of market as well as understanding of cardmember sentiment of behavior change.
  • Interpersonal skill to work in matrix organization and make strong partnership with multiple insurance partners.
  • Marketing experience welcomed.
    • Experience of working at Insurance industry is very welcomed. (Not mandatory)
  • Native level Japanese and business English essential
