Audible is looking for a results-oriented Manager of Amazon Marketing to drive customer growth for Audible Japan ( via the Amazon JP Website, Amazon Devices & Affiliate programs. This role will be based in Tokyo and be reporting to Director Amazon Surfaces, APAC.


As Manager, Amazon Marketing APAC this role will be responsible for defining and executing the CRO vision and roadmap across the APAC region. This role will require diving deep to analyze customer journeys, traffic flow patterns, identifying customer paints and working with various teams across the region to identify, test and measure solutions to improve customer conversion. In addition to leveraging data to identify, size and prioritize local conversion opportunities, this role will also require partnering with global and local stakeholders to share conversion best practices and identify and execute quick win opportunities based on learning's from other marketplaces. This is a hands-on role responsible for planning, setting up and measuring a/b tests using various Amazon tools.
This role is also expected to partner with global product teams to capture marketplace specific requirements, identify and define product roadmap and own the implementation/localization of new product features and launches.

The position will be responsible for coaching and developing a small team of marketing managers as well as partnering with local and global Audible and Amazon stakeholder teams, building strong partnerships, sharing best practices and seeking opportunities for increasing Audible’s visibility on


The ideal candidate will have experience building relationships within and across businesses, with a focus on driving mutually beneficial outcomes. This is a senior role requiring excellent stakeholder management skills in order to establish and own relationships with Amazon and Audible local and international stakeholders across different levels of leadership to influence their roadmap with the goal of increasing Audible’s visibility across their channels.

This role will require someone who is analytical, data led and can work with the insights to increase the efficiency of the campaigns already in market and analyse opportunities. In addition, this role will also be responsible for forecasting, budget management, reporting and performance analysis of marketing activities.


  • Dive deep to analyze customer journeys, traffic flow patterns and identify drop off points on Audible pages on Amazon surface
  • Leverage data to identify, size and prioritize opportunities for improving conversion on Amazon surface. Build and define CRO strategy and roadmap
  • Set up and measure a/b tests leveraging Amazon tools across the APAC region to implement CRO strategy and roadmap
  • Work with global product and tech teams to identify and define product roadmap.
  • Partner with local APAC and global teams across different functions including product, cs and legal to provide requirements for product launches. Own implementation and validation of product feature roll-outs
  • Measure performance of product launches, identify wins and opportunities and create feedback loop with product teams to guide product strategy
  • Partner with global marketing and product teams to share learning's, best practices and identify opportunities for improving conversion across the region


Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in the online marketing or product management or program management field with a proven track record of successfully executing and evaluating tests to optimize the online conversion funnel
  • Experience in working with international counterparts to document requirements, manage product roll-outs, run user acceptance tests and train users.
  • A profound understanding of UX, usability and design
  • Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Adobe Target or Optimizely), Content Management Systems (CMS) and web analytics tool (e.g., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS
  • Ability to work cross functionally

  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in working with subscription businesses
  • Experience working in a global organization with teams dispersed across geographies
