We are looking for a Creative Director to lead a global UXUI design team for one of the most popular car makers in the world, which has launched its mobility services in 27 countries and amid rapidly advancing technological innovation surrounding cars and based on a mutual desire to swiftly deliver the evolution of cars to customers.
As Creative Director of the Global UX/UI team, you’ll be the brand and creative champion, guiding messaging and brand consistency to create a new unified experience across all products, services, and marketing efforts.
Your mission
Setting the creative bar and executing works that delivers against business objectives
Leading visual design direction while inspiring and collaborating with the design team and other departments to achieve design goals
Ensuring that the design work is of sufficient quality and that all directives are being followed while managing and improving a newly developed internal Design System
Creating innovative ideas and designs and putting them into a context that the rest of the team and the client/customer can understand
Communicating efficiently and directly with the cross-functional partners in creative, brand, growth marketing, and product
Developing a budget and analyzing that budget regularly to ensure it remains tenable
Mentoring and guiding team members and motivating them to achieve their goals and yours
Interacting with and managing external agencies as needed

A deep technical knowledge of the complete design process from brainstorming to end product
A creative drive and a keen eye for innovative ideas and trends
Effective supervisory and organizational skills
The ability to be a leader but to also know how to motivate team members
Excellent communication skills (English&Japanese) - both written and oral
Minimum 5 years experience leading and developing a team of designers, copywriters, managers and directors at all experience levels, preferably at a global scale.
