Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: software development, service operations, or consulting
- Ability to define KPIs and measurable success criteria, and continuously evaluate and reflect on them
- Skill in quickly grasping clients’ industry expertise and identifying trends and opportunities in their field
- Experience in business planning, including vision setting, strategy development, and product roadmap creation
Leadership Skills
- Capable of effectively leading team decision-making
- Interested in supporting and mentoring colleagues
Handling Uncertainty
- Able to achieve goals in rapidly changing environments
- Skilled at breaking down complex problems into actionable steps
Communication Skills
- Experience collaborating with engineers and designers in a small team environment to develop products
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to foster collaborative decision-making
- Proficiency in both Korean and Japanese communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean and agile development
- Experience creating and managing development backlogs
- Experience conducting or supporting user research
- Experience mentoring other PMs
- Experience working with or within large enterprises
- Experience working as a designer or engineer
- Knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure
Language Proficiency
Most client engagements at Bekind Labs are conducted in Japanese, so English proficiency is not mandatory. However, basic comfort with English communication is helpful, as some aspects of the hiring process, onboarding, internal communications, and documentation may involve English.
