Job Description

Bodygram is a rapidly growing AI company that aims at empowering people through intuitive body insights.

We are looking for talented and intellectually curious engineers to support the company’s mission. As part of Bodygram's engineering family, you will work in an international team under the guidance of experienced engineers from leading tech companies (such as Google and Amazon) to deliver end-to-end, cutting-edge capabilities and features to Bodygram's users and partners. You will work on a specific project that is critical to Bodygram's needs with opportunities to switch projects as you — and our fast-paced business environment — grow and evolve.

In this role you will 

As Software Engineer for Bodygram's B2B team, you will be responsible for developing key web solutions leveraging Bodygram's scanning technology. In particular, you will help develop Bodygram web scanning platform and apparel solutions with the objective of guiding shoppers to "the best fit" while leading the industry towards more sustainability.

You will directly report to Bodygram's Director of Engineering and collaborate with a team currently composed of 3 software engineers. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop rich modern web applications in Typescript and/or Golang
  • Design and deliver robust UI and APIs to support seamless customer integration
  • Develop innovative features and capability involving cutting edge technologies such as camera pose detection, 3D rendering, and draping
  • Contribute to system design and help making tactical technical decisions
  • Work closely with UX designers and product managers to optimize the user experience
  • Join a talented team of Engineers with high code quality and delivery standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Go, Typescript, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or C++
  • Experience with code reviews and trunk-based development
  • 3 years experience in building distributed web applications
  • Ability to speak and write in English with business level proficiency

In the first 30/60/90 days some of your expected deliverables will include

  • Get familiar with Bodygram's codebase and tools by working on an independent starter project of tactical importance
  • Partner directly with other team members and the product team to design Bodygram's B2B APIs and customer portal
  • Deliver high-quality engineering artifacts (e.g. coding style, test, documentation) and contribute to code reviews

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Go, Typescript, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or C++
  • Experience with code reviews and trunk-based development
  • 3 years experience in building distributed web applications
  • Ability to speak and write in English with business level proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Programming experience in Go and Typescript
  • Experience in designing and building robust web APIs (REST & GRPC)
  • Experience with web 3D rendering
  • Experience developing code for serverless solutions such as AWS Lambda or AWS Fargate
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning
