Job Description

CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Tokyo office based on business requirements or for company/team events. 

In this role, you will develop and implement content marketing strategies in close collaboration with team members and relevant departments. Your efforts will focus on driving lead generation, increasing audience engagement, improving conversion rates, and enhancing cross-selling opportunities between Editage and Paperpal in the Japan market.

Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement content strategies with an SEO-focused approach while defining target audience personas.
• Content Creation & Management: Create and manage blog articles, white papers, case studies, e-books, social media posts, and email marketing content.
• SEO & Content Optimization: Improve search rankings through content rewriting, market trend analysis, and competitor research.
• Industry Research & User Insights: Track industry trends, analyze competitor content, collect user feedback, and create case studies and customer stories.
• Promotional Material Development: Develop presentations, ad creatives, visual content, and video scripts in collaboration with production teams.
• Marketing Campaign Planning & Execution: Plan and implement content distribution strategies, manage social media and ad campaigns, and report on key content initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content marketing with strong writing and editing skills to create engaging content. Proficiency in social media marketing, including planning, managing, and analyzing posts, along with basic SEO knowledge such as keyword research and article optimization.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, enabling seamless collaboration with teams in Japan and overseas.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics and social media analytics tools to track performance, optimize strategies, and refine marketing campaigns based on data insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, schedule content production, and track progress independently with strong project and task management skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express, or Canva for banner creation. Experience in video marketing, including YouTube and short-form video planning and management.
• Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot, along with expertise in email marketing, social media promotions, webinars, content marketing, and trade show marketing.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS with the ability to make minor edits to WordPress or landing pages as needed.
