Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage and lead a staff responsible for individual, multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities for assigned projects include managing and maintaining the project plans, assist in business requirement review, assembling cross functional teams, managing scope, and actively managing resources, costs, quality and risk
  • Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for multi real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout, and large scale office fitting out projects. And implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting.
  • Creates and manages project plans; monitors and reviews project progress and timelines; adjusts schedules and plans as needed; identifies and resolves issues to ensure project(s) success
  • Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, procurement, and risk identification.
  • Drives the identification of organizational change management impacts in coordination with the change management team, where applicable. Provides successful oversight of execution activities to ensure adoption and adherence.
  • Facilitates requirements gathering and assists with the creation of project deliverables, as needed. Financial budget ownership and accountability to track, monitor and deliver within defined financial constraints.
  • Identifies matters regarding budget(s), resources, timelines and formally captures and communicates to management in order to seek support on any changes
  • Leads project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals
  • Supports and owns the publishing of KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and Metrics
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, Interior Design or related discipline, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management, Project, Property or other related experience. Business Analysis work experience is an advantage
  • Proven track record of project management of Office renovation projects
  • Strong project planning, vendor management experience
  • Professional qualification in PMP is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Japanese

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with PMO team by effectively building internal/external networks. Confident and experienced in dealing with people of all levels.
