Job Description
Cogent Labs is looking for a Full Stack developer with 4+ years of relevant experience to enhance our AI products and platforms using ReactJS, NodeJs, and other technologies. Successful candidates will join a highly skilled team, and should be able to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality frontend and backend features.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team with proper engineering practices through design, code review, and pair programming
- Implement new API and UI features/architectures in cooperation with other team members, including those in our machine learning team
- Write clean, scalable, readable, and testable code, and deploy to production often
- Communicate effectively inside and outside the team
Qualifications
Required Skills
- At least 4 years of relevant experience contributing to a production system
- Strong coding fundamentals in Javascript/Typescript
- Excellent skills in the ReactJS ecosystem, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
- Experience with NodeJS for back-end development, preferably using a modern web framework (e.g. Loopback)
- Experience with unit and integration test frameworks and automation (e.g. Jest, Cypress)
- Knowledge of basic database concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience refactoring and improving existing codebases
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Docker, kubernetes, helm, and related technologies
- Security experience (e.g. authentication, authorization, Role-Based Access Control)
- Japanese language ability
