Responsibilities

• Understanding user needs: Conducting user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement across our entire tax filing journey.
• Designing intuitive experiences: Crafting user interfaces that are clear, concise, and user-friendly for all levels of tax expertise.
• Simplifying complexity: Taking complex requirements for filing taxes and translating them into easy-to-understand visuals and workflows.
• Prototyping and iterating: Developing high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and iterating based on feedback.
• Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, and marketing to ensure a seamless user experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design clear and intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, card sorting, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• A passion for user-centered design and a strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus points for experience with financial applications or tax software.
• At least medium level 日本語 skills are a plus! This will allow you to understand user needs in the local environment we live in.
