In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Core Search Engineering team to build Japan focused strategies for growth and drive execution.
  • Form the bridge between Central teams and our Japan based cross-functional teams to execute strategies from approval through go-to-market.
  • Be up to date on market movements, identify unmet user needs, form solutions, and produce impactful outcomes. 

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to read technical articles, present externally, and hold meetings.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a Technology or Business related field.
  • 6 years of experience in end-to-end product management.
  • Experience building zero to one products.
  • Experience with large data sets, performing simple data analysis, and understanding limitations of algorithms/data structures/infrastructure.
  • Experience building consumer product strategies, aligning the cross-functional teams, landing successful executive reviews, and driving rapid execution.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently.
