About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Manager, Car Audio Brand Partnerships within HARMAN’s Automotive Marketing team, you’ll be part of a fast-paced and passionate team dedicated to delivering world-class Car Audio marketing plans and experiences to our OEM partners. This position will primarily be responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for our leading OEM customers.

Success will require collaborating with, and supporting OEMs, CAMs, Lifestyle Division’s Marketing, Brand Portfolio Management, Finance, Product Management, Product Marketing, Acoustic Systems Engineering, Huemen, and Procurement to develop world class marketing plans and B2B & D2C programs that are aligned across marketing and CAM leadership. 

Functional responsibilities include the development of marketing strategies, the creation and execution of all Business to Business (B2B) and Direct to Consumer (D2C) programs which include: extended Business pitches, brand immersions, co-marketing and product launch plans, trainings, incentives and top-2-top business reviews and planning in order to best support our OEM partners in the effective branded audio value creation and sale of our branded audio systems.

In addition, the Senior Marketing Manager, Car Audio Brand Partnerships will be responsible for building and maintaining strong OEM-customer relationships within Product Planning, Advanced Marketing (innovation), Product Marketing, Sales, Regions and NSOs, as well as with Marketing, Vehicle Launch Teams, Digital/Social and Dealerships around the globe.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of customer engagement, relationship management and B2B & D2C communication planning as well as co-marketing & product launch plans.
  • Lead the launch of new vehicles with HARMAN audio systems.
  • Lead experiential marketing activations in the field and dealership from conception through execution.
  • Lead and execute innovative programs and initiatives to drive increased sales through/Customer Programs (pull) and option packaging and incentive (push) programs.
  • Create effective value propositions & stories to continuously sell the value of HARMAN to our OEM customer through demonstrations, presentations, and events.
  • Ensure appropriate brand and product standards application in alignment with the brand, EPIC and Design teams.
  • Takes an active role in the development of the marketing strategies for the OEM with the CAMs.
  • Manage the execution initiatives based on overarching marketing plan.
  • Develops internal customer “brand champions” in Marketing, Product Planning, and Sales who deeply understand and value the relationship with Harman to the point where they become internal advocates for our brand(s).
  • Work with agency partners, create all marketing assets to support marketing programs and sales activities for customer account.
  • Effectively manage agency partners and project budgets in the execution of all marketing programs.
  • Event planning and implementation in cooperation with the Experiential Events department.
  • Close and continuous communications with global Marketing and Sales teams and with Global Support Marketing Teams like Insights, PR & Communications, Content, and Experiential teams
  • Expert advice for the Senior Marketing Specialist, Car Audio Brand Partnerships
  • Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content etc
  • Manage internal events such as All hands meeting to promote employee engagement and strengthen the company culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Marketing, Business, or Communication) preferred
  • 8+ years of experience as a dedicated Marketer
  • Customer Relationship Management incl. influencing and networking skills
  • Strategic Marketeer: Ability to distill and communicate findings into concise language and draw fact-based conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience in B2B2C strategic planning and tactical execution
  • Highly organized and results driven to drive the global marketing strategy supporting the business strategic and financial goals
  • Car Audio/Consumer Audio experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-Starter, highly pro-active, Hands-On
  • Experience of planning / conducting mid/large scale events is a plus
