責任
- 英語から日本語に翻訳されるコンテンツの適切なトーンオブボイスを分析・定義するためのコンサルテーションの提供
- トーン、言葉の選び方、表現に関するライティングガイドラインの作成のサポート
- プロダクトデザイナーや翻訳者との連携
資格
- UXライターまたはコンテンツストラテジストとしての実務経験
- UXライティングの原則やユーザー中心設計に関する知識を持っている方
- ライティングガイドラインの作成をサポートし、翻訳されたコンテンツの改善に向けてアドバイスできる方
- コンテンツがメインのアプリでのライティング経験
- 複数のコンテンツタイプにわたりユーザーフレンドリーで一貫した表現でライティングを行った経験
- ネイティブレベルまたは近しい日本語力
- 特にデジタルインターフェース（アプリ、ウェブサイト）における日本のユーザーの理解

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, experienced UX Writing/Content Writing Consultant to help define the tone and voice of our content as it transitions from English to Japanese. Our team is working on translating English content into Japanese, and we need an expert to ensure that the tone is adapted appropriately for a Japanese audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX writing, content strategy, and localization, particularly in the Japanese market.
Location: Global
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation to analyze and define the tone and voice of content being translated from English to Japanese
- Assist creating guidelines for tone of voice, word choice, and phrasing to ensure cultural relevance and clarity
- Collaborate with product designers and translators
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UX writer or content strategist
- Strong knowledge of UX writing principles and user-centered design
- Ability to support creating clear, actionable writing guidelines and offer practical advice on improving translated content
- Familiarity with content-heavy apps and the need for consistent, user-friendly language across multiple content types
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese
- Understanding of Japanese user behavior, particularly in digital interfaces (apps, websites).
Preferred Skills
Prior experience working in healthcare content or wellness content
- Experience with translation and localization processes.
- Fluency in English and an understanding of both English and Japanese cultural nuances.
Note
- This is a 1-month contract position with possibility of extension. Term: late October - late November
- The role will require up to 3 hour consultation sessions weekly, along with ongoing communication via Slack. Up to 10 hours in total per week.
