SEO & Affiliate Marketing Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for an SEO & Affiliate Marketing Specialist to support our Growth team in Japan. The chosen candidate will primarily focus on optimizing our search engine rankings and managing our affiliate marketing program to drive traffic and increase revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of both SEO and affiliate marketing strategies, and the ability to analyze data and optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Own the Koala blog (https://koala.com/ja-jp/blog/blog/) working with agencies & freelancers optimize content strategy
- Ensure blog content represents Koala’s brand effectively whilst ensuring optimization for SEO rankings
- Manage affiliate marketing strategy:, including recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing affiliate partners.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and technical SEO audits to optimize website performance.
- Create and manage affiliate campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO and affiliate program performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO and affiliate marketing.
Qualifications
- Native level Japanese. Proficiency in Business English.
- 3-5 years+ Digital Marketing background, with experience in SEO and affiliate marketing.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Experience in managing affiliate marketing programs and partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Basic copywriting skills.
- Strong digital and customer-first acumen.
