Job Description
We are looking for an in-house, full-time video editor to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a creative and responsible individual with a strong sense of visual storytelling and a passion for video editing. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including corporate videos, explainer videos, product demos, and more.
Qualifications
- Creative Video Editing: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft engaging and visually appealing video content is essential.
- Adaptability: The ability to seamlessly switch between corporate video projects and super fancy ones, adjusting your editing style and approach accordingly, is a must.
- Proficiency with Software: Expertise in the following software is required: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Da Vinci Resolve,Adobe After Effects, Google Workspace.
- Camera Knowledge: Familiarity with the following cameras is a significant advantage: Sony Fx9, Arri Alexa Mini
- Positive Attitude: A positive outlook and the ability to work collaboratively with the team are essential qualities we value.
- Problem-Solving: We're looking for someone who can tackle challenges head-on and find effective solutions in the editing process.
- Japanese Language: Proficiency at the N1 level is preferred to communicate effectively with our clients in Japan.
- Understanding of Branding Guidelines: An understanding of design principles, branding guidelines, and the ability to maintain consistency across different types of content is important.
- Love for Dogs: As a dog-friendly workplace, a love for dogs is a bonus.
- Honesty and Growth Mindset: We value honesty and the ability to admit and learn from mistakes, promoting both personal and professional growth.
