About this team
The Brand & Community team is responsible for leading the integrated, cross-functional marketing process with the goal of increasing the awareness, preference and demand for our brand and products over time.
Reporting to Head of Brand Japan, this person as Brand Manager Japan will bring global brand plan to life in a way that is both distinctly lululemon, and uniquely local. You lead campaigns, local projects, experiences and build a plan that comprises broad and deep tactics to accelerate growth, brand awareness and long-term brand love. You are best in the world at building relationships, online to offline tactics and enthusiastic delivery of KPI’s. Through engaging and innovative online and offline storytelling, the Brand Manager will be accountable for inspiring, educating and challenging guests to deliver against traffic, revenue and brand awareness goals.
Responsibilities
- Be a hell yes for Japan market and delivering on the purpose of lululemon in this part of the world.
- Accountable for developing and delivering into the brand and business objectives through key brand initiatives and projects
- Act as a partner to the regional teams in developing and localizing integrated Marketing strategy for all the channels from Social Media, PR, RBE, to Community for Tier 1-3 campaigns.
- Work with cross functional partners to ensure we show up consistent across channels and guest touchpoints (Street, Shop in Shop, ecom, marketplace, brand comm channels etc)
- Oversee Brand strategy, development, and execution of campaigns, relationship, and social program.
- Partner with the cross functional teams including product, retail, and ecom on a consistent basis to align on objectives, content and messaging
- Track and measure impact of local tactics and reactions as well as budget, collating results into regular reporting and actionable insights
- Drive a deep understanding of consumer segments (insights) and messaging hierarchy for project initiatives
Qualifications
- You are passionate about sports, health and well-being. You’re someone who wants to grow as a person and thrive in a culture of leadership development and goal setting
- Minimum 5 - 7 years brand or integrated marketing background (Preferably in Retail/Apparel/Sports)
- Have led big brand initiatives in a high growth brand such as experiential, key relationships management or influencer programs, strategic partnerships
- Campaign production experience both from strategy and production sides
- Effective written, presentation and communication skills (English and Japanese)
- Have strengths in strategic planning, analytic skills or consumer insights research
- Strong collaborative skills and proven ability to work well with others across the business in a matrix environment
- Sports marketing or Mens brand experience is a plus
- Consumer Brand Management experience at a cutting edge, high growth, influential global brand is a plus
