OSL is a leading global digital asset service provider offering secure, transparent solutions for the growing cryptocurrency market. We are seeking a dynamic Community Manager to drive user engagement, build relationships, and manage the OSL brand community in Japan. This individual will play a critical role in creating a strong, positive connection with OSL's user base and prospects in the crypto space while supporting brand awareness and loyalty in Japan.


Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture a strong community of crypto enthusiasts, investors, and users in Japan. Engage with users across various platforms, ensuring their concerns are addressed and creating meaningful relationships.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute community-driven events, both virtual and in-person, to raise awareness and drive user engagement. Represent OSL at industry events, online communities, and social media channels.
  • Market Localization: Adapt and localize global community engagement strategies to meet the cultural and social dynamics of the Japanese market.
  • Content Creation: Develop content, including educational resources, community posts, and newsletters to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze user feedback to provide insights into local market needs and potential improvements to products and services. Collaborate with internal teams to act on this feedback.
  • Brand Advocacy: Be a strong advocate for OSL in Japan’s crypto space, sharing the value and vision of the brand while maintaining a positive and engaging online/offline presence.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese (both spoken and written) is essential.
  • 4+ years of experience in community management, social media, or digital marketing within the crypto, fintech, or tech space.
  • Proven ability to build and engage online and offline communities, especially in the cryptocurrency or blockchain sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese crypto market, consumer behavior, and local social media platforms.
  • Experience with organizing and managing events, both digital and in-person, to foster community interaction.
  • English proficiency is a plus but not required.
