Job Description
The Qt Company is a global software company headquartered in Finland that provides a cross -platform integrated development environment. Currently, Qt is used by customer in a wide range of industries in Japan and we are expanding sales of Qt product lineup and related services to further strengthen our customers in the Japan market. In this role, you will be responsible for sales activities on companies that develops embedded devices and applications in the automotive, industrial automation, medical, consumer electronics, professional equipment, and defense markets. Japan market is one of the most important markets for Qt and it will be a great career advancement opportunity for account managers.
Responsibilities
- Solution sales activities (proposal, negotiations, contracts) related to Qt (development environment, QA Tool, Service)
- Understand and define the issues at the customer`s development site, identify their needs, and propose solutions using Qt products
- As an account owner, collaborate with internal stakeholders (solution engineers, etc.), maximize the use of internal resources, and manage the closure
- Build medium- to long-term business relationships with existing accounts and promote horizontal expansion to expand sales
- Develop new accounts and build relationships
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Corporate sales experience(experience and achievement in building medium to long-term business relationships)
- Experience in proactively closing medium to long-term sales cycles
- High communication skills and value teamwork
- Customer-centric mindset
- Attitude of persistence in working hard to achieve goals
Preferred Skills
- Experience and achievements in software solution sales
- Experience in selling software licenses to C-level engineering managers, technical directors, product managers, and project managers
- Experience in finding prospect customers
- Understanding and knowledge of embedded device development or software development processes (technical background or education in a technical field is a plus)
- Experience selling solutions in one of the following industries
- Automotive, Industrial Automation, Medical, Consumer Electronics, Professional Equipment, Transportation, Defense, Retail
- Business level English
