The Peninsula hotels is a division of The HongKong and Shanghai Hotels limited, operates twelve luxury hotels across Asia, Europe and USA. The legendary Peninsula Hong Kong was opened in 1928, was built with the vision of being "the finest hotel east of Suez". From our first property in HongKong, The Peninsula Hotels has grown to encompass eleven award-winning properties in Shanghai, Tokyo, Beijing, New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, Bangkok, Manila, Paris, Istanbul, with The Peninsula London opened in 2023.

We are seeking a highly talented graphic Designer to join our Digital/ Brand Marketing team at the Peninsula Tokyo. 

Job Purpose

Produce collateral materials of The Peninsula Tokyo and group in accordance with The Peninsula Brand. To create online and offline content, in line with brand standards and the luxury industry.


Responsibilities

  • Assures conformity of design work with The Peninsula standards in terms of style and quality
  • Create the design of the collateral materials in accordance with the brand guideline and our requirements for all hotel businesses such as Marketing, Sales, Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Transportation, Wedding and Cultural experiences, Sales tools, Recruiting collaterals and Internal communications tool including hotel brochure, Menus, Flyers, In room letter, Invitations for hotel events,
  • Draft of text for collateral materials with approval by the Director of Digital and Brand Marketing and Director of Brand Partnerships and Communications
  • Edit photos and videos such as colour change and retouch
  • Production of photo/video materials for marketing purposes including Social media
  • Communicate and work closely with Assistant Brand Communication Manager and Brand Communications Executive.
  • Support photoshoots, video creation and other creative contents
  • Lead, plan and coordinate tasks with stakeholders, to ensure that relevant people are informed and part of decision making and creative conversations.

Qualifications

  • Over 3 years experiences as Graphic Designer
  • Significant skills and experiences in Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premier and InDesign.
  • Basic skill of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Eligible to work in Japan
  • Fluent in English, Japanese language ability is an advantage
