Job Description


  • Work with external developer / licensee and internal team members to help plan and develop games from creative standpoint, ranging from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and other Disney owned IP.

  • Work with developer / liensee of allocated game products to review, approve, create a design and / or provide feedback to all creative aspects.

  • Development of brand new character ( eg Disney Tsum Tsum, Twisted wonderland )

Responsibilities


  • Provide high quality creative solutions to partners through understanding of product concept, business objectives, and appropriate story-telling

  • Provide suggestions to improve products of game based on personal imaginative faculty and research of benchmark products

  • Develop a new Disney IP with create imagination

  • Provide branding feedback based on corporate / brand policies for all in-games assets and Marketing materials (on-going self-education of Disney owned brand a must through films, books, comics, games, and merchandise)

  • Keep an eye out for new digital application creativity / technologies and make suggestions as required necessary

Mandatory Requirement


  • 3 years or more in the art direction for game / digital content industry.

  • Ability to create / direct using creative tools (Adobe photoshop, illustrator at least.)

  • Strong native communication skills in Japanese, with the ability to clearly articulate fine nuances of creative / product feedback.

  • Ability to generate high quality design to communicate feedback in speedy, efficient manner

  • Personal wide field of view in art / subculture and sense of game products mechanics, preferably willingness to generate original game products concept pitches

  • Creative thinking, with a passion for delivering the best Disney products to our guests

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to jointly own successes & failures

  • Self-motivating, entrepreneurial spirit with ability to deal with ambiguous and fast-paced working environment, and to work through challenging, multiple deadlines

  • Strong team player with solid work ethic; willingness to learn and take on new tasks

  • Passion for learning about new creativity, technologies and consumer facing digital services
