Job Description:


Treasure Data is building CDP applications for Sales, Service, Life Science and many other markets to drive our “Beyond Marketing” growth. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who can drive successful products to the market.


This is a highly visible, fast paced and technical role where you will be encouraged to roll up your sleeves to push the boundaries to build the groundbreaking products. Applicants are expected to have deep knowledge of B2B businesses and software like CRM or RevOps categories like lead and deal management, prospect communication, generation of reports with insights, etc.


Responsibilities:


  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of the customer. Build impactful, personal, customer relationships. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications and release plans.

  • Drive the vision, roadmap and execution of CDP Applications in Emerging Markets like Sales, etc for worldwide launch. Author PRD’s and maintain roadmaps.

  • Collaborate and work closely with internal innovation teams to quickly build, test and launch new products that addresses customer difficulties and impacts business value.

  • Aim for the best customer experience possible. Collaborate with UX to develop, test and deliver assets to the engineering team. Work with the technical team to deliver an outstanding product driven by customers, prospects, advisory teams, and internal product experts. Drive the end to end feature delivery cycle including customer onboarding and ramp.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing team to help them develop comprehensive Go-To-Market plans including, internal and external training, pitch decks, demos and the vital marketing materials.

  • Measure success. Measure everything. A feature release does not indicate success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development.

  • Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product managers play a critical role in crafting alignment between engineering teams and partners. A collaborative demeanor is crucial to the job.

  • Communicate clearly and efficiently. Coordinate product release communications for your components. Define expectations for engineering teams and hold them accountable to success and failure.

  • Represent Treasure Data as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, online in customer communities and through social networking.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Technical Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related.

  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability, 1-3 years B2B experience in technology areas related to Sales or RevOps;

  • Lifesciences experience preferable

  • Demonstrated ability with 5+ years as a Product Manager

  • Deep understanding of how Sales departments in B2B companies in an industry deliver results through use of technology for digital customer engagement

  • Leadership - proven track record to set a vision, translate the vision into a roadmap, and excite/lead a cross-functional engineering, UX, Product Marketing, partner and sales team to bring the product to market.

  • Proven experience with enterprise SaaS products including making pitches to executive leadership and handling critical customer situations.

  • Excellent ability to empathize and communicate with people with different points of view.

  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills in English. Candidates with additional Japanese language skills would be preferred;

  • Consistent track record to deliver on commitments and lead/work autonomously globally.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple challenging priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinker who thrives with solving ambitious problems with analytical thinking, and is passionate about adding customer value and return on investment.

  • Good understanding of technology with the ability to hold your own in debates with technical architects and engineers.

  • Adept at gathering and transforming business requirements and market needs into a successful product strategy.

  • Utmost ownership of your projects. The buck stops with you.

  • AI and big-data technologies experience or academic background.

  • Have experience of shipping a B2B product.
