Job Description

Mission of this role: Developing Vision Functions software for JOEM based on their requirements. We need to adapt/modify/improve our standard functions software to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Understand/analyze stakeholder requirements and create software requirements.
• Design, implement, modify, and improve our standard software as per software requirements.
• Verify and validate the software conforming to related standards.
• Proactively involve suitable stakeholders (internal/external) to solve technical challenges.

Qualifications

Must Have Requirements

Technical Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ software development complies with related standards (e.g. ISO26262, A-SPICE)
• Fundamental proficiency with SW development environment, tools, static analysis, and office tools as related to software engineering
• Skills on identifying, analyzing, clarifying, managing, and resolving project issues

“Soft” Skills

• Understand and manage multicultural engineering team to maintain high overall level of productivity
• Build professional relationship with stakeholders which include Veoneer team – demonstrate integrity, consistency, and respect for others
• Drive Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and context to develop better functions
• Cultivate Innovation: Proactively look for new solutions that improves way of working, speed up development, help stakeholders, and other team members
• Skills in team management in Agile/Scrum style

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of coding standard such as MISRA or CERT
• Hands on experience with ADAS functions development, (e.g. Object detection, Object Tracking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Driving Beam.)
• Vehicle level system testing experience: Support driving test planning, and result analysis (incl. KPI calculation)
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink, Python, Rust
• Knowledge in Optical Sensing, GeometricalComputer Vision, Sensor Technology, Statistical Inference, Functional Safety
