The Toyota Woven City is a fully connected ecosystem powered by hydrogen fuel cells to be built at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan. Woven City's Woven Inventor Garage team will develop innovative products and services as software first for users.

As a first party developer, we will also build a foundation upon which third party partners can participate. Therefore, we are responsible for not just the applications but also the core software and capabilities.

Our team consists of many highly experienced members with international work experience. Our global team works closely with the Toyota Motor Corporation and the Toyota Research Institute in North America to develop our technologies and products.

Who Are We Looking For?

Our team will develop innovative services that are essential to the city and users based on the strategy of Woven Inventor Garage. You will have the opportunity to plan and deliver connected digital service/product with all of these businesses and continue to roll them out in this ever evolving city. We're looking for a Product Manager who has rich experiences in managing software services/products to lead a product management of Woven City's new digital service/product. This position reports to the lead of the Software Business Planning function in the Woven City management organization.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for product management of newly developed digital venture services
• Initiate creating customer value, vision/concept, business development, roadmap of the assigned digital services and cross-functional user experiences providing with other city services in Woven City
• Play the role of agile product development and business/service planning with the engineering and UX team cross functionally to lead the end-to-end success of products from development to launch
• Commercializing the assigned services and growth hacking of them for ever-evolving value creation ahead to the Woven City grand opening
• Set a course of business development strategy to scale software services beyond Woven City

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 7+ years to take the lead of creating or growing of web or app services/products at various stages including start-up, launching and improving them in an agile way
• 5+ years working as a product manager or business planner in the related digital transformational business, AI implication or software service/product development companies
• Passion to move forward and tackle problems in a situation with ambiguity and without a definitive answer
• Proficiency in business level Japanese/English

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup or new business development experience
• Both agile and waterfall service/product development experience
• Experience working within a cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS)
• Global business development experience and deep understanding for Japanese business and industries
