Job Description

YOOX are now seeking a skilled and talented Senior Marketing Specialist to manage and run our regional performance marketing in Japan, for both both YOOX Japan www.yoox.com/jp and THE OUTNET Japan www.theoutnet.com/ja-jp. You will play a critical role to adopt the global strategy to the local needs by identifying the local challenges and opportunities and building new ways to engage and grow our customers.

Location: Japan

Reporting into: APAC Affiliate Marketing Manager in HK

Dot reporting into : Head of Site Trading Japan


Responsibilities

  • Proactively optimize campaign performance to achieve targets: grow sales and acquire new customers
  • Directly manage channels such as Search Engine Marketing, Display Ads, Retargeting, Affiliates, and Social
  • Actively develop new growth opportunities with an analytical approach: execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights.
  • Investigate and propose opportunities for campaign automation and other advanced techniques, collaborating with headquarters and external agencies.
  • Support the Marketing Manager to develop and execute weekly, monthly, quarterly action plans and report results

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of performance marketing experience, with a strong preference for hands-on operational expertise with multiple online advertising platforms (Google Adwords, Google Search Ads 360, Yahoo, Criteo, Linkshare, Facebook, LINE, Affiliate, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing channels and cross-channel strategy
  • A high business acumen with a strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to analyse and structure data, and turn data into insights and actions
  • Financial excellence through budget management and PO process, working closely with Finance partners, ensuring we deliver on budget and pay vendors on time.
  • Advanced Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel skills
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to manage multiple projects
  • A hard-working and motivated self-starter, striving to improve your skills to add value to the team
  • Strong communication skills including native level Japanese and fluent spoken and written in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-house Performance Marketing experience at a retailer (especially apparel or luxury) is preferred
  • Prior experience managing multiple agencies, partners and vendors (or many in-house stakeholders)
  • Experience managing large Performance Marketing budgets
