Junior Product Manager

Job Description

As a Junior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product offerings. You will work closely with the business and development team to gather requirements, prioritize features, and contribute to the development and enhancement of our applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management within the fast-paced environment of a startup, while making a meaningful impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities

Product Roadmap: Assist in developing and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to gather and analyze requirements and find the optimal spot for feasibility and user satisfaction.

User Stories and Specifications: Create clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide the development process.

Feature Prioritization: Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize features based on customer feedback, market research, and strategic objectives.

UX/UI Design: Collaborate with developers to ensure intuitive user experiences and visually appealing interfaces.

Release Management: Coordinate with development teams to assist in planing and executing product releases, including sprint planning, backlog grooming etc.

Product Testing: Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes to ensure quality and reliability.

Client Support: Provide support to customers by addressing product-related inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests.

Documentation: Prepare product documentation, including user guides, tutorials to assist customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or previous experience in product management, software development, or related roles.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
• Passion for technology, data analytics, and supply chain management.
